    Warranty Terms & Conditions

    These warranty terms and conditions shall be applicable for products distributed by Canon Marketing Vietnam Company Limited ("CMV") as of 1st January 2024 in Vietnam market.

    Warranty Policy

    1 To take effect as of the date of product purchase stated on the purchase invoice.

    2 For cases where the online warranty has not been registered, please provide the purchase invoice upon your request for warranty.

    Other Terms

    • For products whose warranty is not registered and the date of product purchase cannot be identified basing on the purchase invoice, the actual warranty period shall be determined as per the Warranty Period which is prescribed for each type of products and shall take effect as of the date of CMV’s goods delivery date.
    • Defective devices or parts shall be repaired or replaced with equivalent devices or parts at Canon's discretion. Any part or device that needs to be replaced shall vest in CMV.

    Rejection of Warranty

    • The product warranty period expires.
    • The serial number is modified, altered or unable to be recognized.
    • The product safety seal (for products which have seals) is torn, broken, or overlapped by another seal.
    • The product has been dissembled, opened, interfered, or repaired at a location which is not authorized by CMV.
    • Damages which are not production defects or failure of the product components.
    • Damages during usage, damages caused by any usage which is not prescribed by the manufacturer in terms of specification, or design (i.e.: use of product in humid environment, dust, high temperature, oxidation, etc.).
    • Damages caused by external factors (disaster, fire, flood, thunder strike, explosion, foreign matters penetrating into the product, wear and tear, crashes during usage, etc.).
    • Damages caused by the use of the product in combination with devices, accessories, software which are not provided by CMV/Canon Inc.
