Nina May (Phạm Ngọc Diệp) is currently living and working in the ancient village of Đường Lâm, where she captures the beauty of everyday life through her lens. With a passionate devotion to the genre of documentary photography, Nina May specializes in organizing photo tours for both domestic and international photographers. These tours take place in authentic settings, reflecting the cultural beauty and people of her homeland, from portraits of elderly individuals with blackened teeth to traditional craft villages and the nostalgic atmosphere of the Tet holiday.
Nina May has held a solo exhibition titled "Mây Trắng Xứ Đoài," showcasing a stunning collection of photographs about Đường Lâm – a region rich in Vietnamese cultural identity.
She has also been honored with several artistic awards, including Third Prize with a bronze medal at the 45th Traditional Artistic Photography Festival organized by the Ho Chi Minh City Photography Association and Third Prize in the Tourism Photography Contest organized by the Hanoi Department of Tourism. With works that resonate with the essence of life, Nina May is not just a talented photographer; she is also one who brings beautiful perspectives of her homeland through the art of photography.
