    In Windows Aero, the Scanner Buttons do not work while CanoScan Toolbox is open. (Windows Vista)

    If you use [Windows Aero] and place the mouse cursor over [CanoScan Toolbox] on the taskbar, the following thumbnail image is displayed.
    Once the thumbnail image is displayed, commands from the scanner buttons will not be accepted.

    Restart the computer.

    This problem does not occur if you change the setting so that Toolbox is automatically closed after scanning with a scanner button.
